PTI protestors injured as checkpost roof caves in

At least three participants of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) sit-in were injured after the roof of a police checkpost, they had climbed on, gave in under their load.

According to sources, the mishap came to pass after a number of PTI protestors, only to have a better view, got on the roof of a police checkpost which collapsed within minutes.

According to the sources, the rescuers pulled the injured out of the rubble after breaking doors of the post. The causalities were later rushed to a hospital.

The Karachi-chapter of the PTI is staging a demo at Schon Circle in solidarity with the party’s week-long protest in Islamabad.
