PAT workers nab man who allegedly contaminated PAT protestors’ water supply

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers on Saturday nabbed the man allegedly responsible for contaminating water supplied to PAT protestors outside the Parliament House and handed him over to PAT’s security volunteers, a private news channel has reported.

The captured man was identified as Suhail Tariq. PAT workers alleged that the man was captured after he was seen contaminating the water tanks being used for supplying water to PAT supporters who are staging a sit-in outside Parliament House.

Tariq was handed over to PAT security volunteers.

PAT Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri has alleged that the government is orchestrating contamination of water supplied for the protestors, adding that the protestors are suffering from diarrhea and other diseases after consuming the contaminated water.

In a press conference on Friday, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar denied the allegations leveled by the PAT chief against the government.
