Islamabad Bar Association (IBA) on Saturday resolved to support and protect democracy and Constitution of Pakistan and resist any extra-constitutional step to derail democracy.
The requisition in this regard was moved by Islamabad Bar Association General Body Geeral Secretary Chaudhry Muhammad Asharf Gujjar and was unanimously adopted by the bar association.
The Bar General Body session was presided over by Naseer Kayani. Islamabad High Court (IHC) Bar General Secretary Shireen Imran was also present at the meeting.
