  • Urges PTI to prove elections rigging first and then seek premier’s resignation

National Assembly opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah has reportedly urged the federal government to accept Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s demands, also asking PTI to change the sequence of its demands in the list, placing demand for prime minister’s resignation on fifth or sixth number.

A session of opposition parties and government allies, also attended by members of Pakistan Bar Council, was held under the chairmanship of Khursheed Shah on Thursday.

Addressing the media after the meeting, Shah said that the government should accept PTI’s demands, however, the sequence of demands should be changed as it would be much easier to get the prime minister’s resignation if charges of election rigging were proved first.

Shah said that PTI and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chiefs should trust the report of judicial commission, which he said could take up to two months to complete its investigation.

  1. PRESENT SITUATION
    ==================

    I think that it was not a complicated matter before 14 AUG if our govt had made negotiation with PTI and PAT just before 14 August .Now all peoples of Pakistan are facing inconveniences because of sealing of all the roads. upsetting of trades and business, Raising in the prices of items of daily uses ie vegetables.fruits flour, etc, the increasing in the fares by the private transportation etc .If such crises remained for next few days in future,our pakistan economy will be completely upsetted and it will take many years to gain a prosperous stage.Similarly the bad activities of criminal will be increased
    and normal life of the people will be badly affected/ Hence I will advise to both oppenents to seek a solution to resolve this complicated matter in a simplified way in short possible time in the best interest of the pakistan.

  2. Judicial Commissions have been used by Pakistan governments for camouflage concealment and a complete whitewash. So no one has any faith in them. As regards finding evidence of rigging more than enough information and testimony has been shown on tv screens in the last 12 months including Tehreek e Insaf's white-paper. It is beyond any doubt that a massive rigging steeling and faking of votes did take place and that the current regime is the product of a huge amount of defrauding and cheating against which large number of people are vigorously protesting. They will not be satisfied until this illegal regime is toppled followed by fundamental changes a merciless accountability punishing the guilty and a proper "rule of law" established. Good luck Pakistan hold fast a new beginning is just round the corner.
