Open advice to Imran Khan

“You can only be young once but you can be immature forever.” This can be true in the case of Imran Khan who after years still seems to be ignorant and does not know much about politics. The events of last week compel most of us to think that to have any expectation from Mr Khan is to live in a fool’s paradise. Though his cause for electoral transparency is reasonable but his demands are unconstitutional and unjustifiable. In fact Mr Khan has forced people to think what is the difference between him and any other power hungry politician?

Secondly, if rigging was so widespread why was the outcome of the elections accepted in the first place? Why is he doing indiscriminate blame game? Why does Mr Khan think he can accuse anyone, anytime, anywhere of rigging, without enough evidence? His motives and designs are suspicious now. Khan sahib, the people of Pakistan are no more ignorant and they are curious to know the truth behind all this. Ponder over the dwindling party position of PTI; otherwise, it will be useless to cry over the spilt milk. So Mr Khan, wake up.

Mr Khan, you need to realise that Pakistan is already facing many crises on different fronts. Therefore, peace and harmony is the need of the hour and should be promoted at all levels to strengthen and consolidate Pakistan. Mr Khan, the people of Pakistan stand for progress, transparency and justice, not for politics of crisis and confrontation. It is hoped that you will review your confrontational policies, which are accelerating the country towards chaos, anarchy and social unrest.
