The Interior Ministry has issued orders to tighten the security of all sensitive installations in the federal capital in the light of possible terrorist attack by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

The ministry has received a report from secret agencies through police sources in which the TTP Ameer Molvi Fazlulallah has commended Commander Muhammad Ishaq to enter Pakistan and carry out “the secret plan”.

Subsequently, the Interior Ministry has ordered beefing up the security of all important government installations, under construction power projects, cantonment areas, airbases, airports and police lines.

In this regard, Punjab Special Branch inspector general has directed law enforcement agencies to make foolproof security to foil any terrorist attack.

Moreover, all entry points from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Punjab will be fully guarded and ever vehicle will be checked to ensure security.
