Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday dismissed a petition seeking an end to ‘Azadi’ march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Justice Shahid Bilal heard the petition filed against PTI’s ‘Azadi’ march. The High Court Office had declared the plea as non-maintainable. The LHC withheld the decision of the High Court Office and said that no one can be stopped from staging peaceful protests.
The petitioner had stated that the long march of PTI is an international conspiracy against Pakistan which has sparked anarchy.
It was pleaded to the court to form a commission to investigate back-channel realities of the ‘Azadi’ march so that the nation can be informed about the real situation.
