Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has claimed that prevailing political impasse would be resolved by Sunday.
Talking to a private TV channel on Thursday, Rasheed said, “Whatever the result may be of the current political impasse, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be at the losing end.”
The AML chief, who is supporting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s sit-in in the federal capital, blamed that due to inflexible attitude of incumbent government, twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi were completely sealed.
Rasheed also alleged that the government had decided to attack Lal Haveli in Rawalpindi.
“Martial law is never imposed by fulfilling anyone’s wish,” he said, adding that a “third force” wanted political solution to the current political stalemate.
“Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) may announce to support sit-in during the next 72 hours,” he added.
