PTI has no practical programme: Mujtaba Shuja

Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman said on Sunday the PTI had no practical program for the masses otherwise it would have implemented it in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

“Masses would not be lured by tempting slogans of some people,” he said while talking to the party workers on Sunday.

The minister said the government would continue to work for the supremacy of the constitution, law and strengthening the democratic institutions in the country, urging the opposition to follow suit and wait for five years for the government to complete its constitutional tenure.

He said the PML-N government’s manifesto was to strengthen democracy and democratic institutions in the country.

Mujtaba said the government had been utilising all out resources for the provision of basic amenities of life to the people, adding that the PML-N government would rid the country of all problems and put it on the path of progress.

He said agriculture was the backbone of the country, adding that provincial and the federal government would provide 10 billion rupees relief to farmers through subsidy on the DAP fertiliser. He said the wages for the labourers had been increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000.
