Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that economy of country has to suffer losses of Rs 450 billion due to ongoing protests being staged by Imran Khan and Dr Tahirul Qadri.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Dar said an IMF delegation has called off its visit to Pakistan due to security reasons. “IMF officials are surprised whatever is happening in Pakistan,” he said.
“Pakistan is progressing economically. What is the objective of this protest?” he asked.
Commenting on Imran Khan’s addresses, he said that there was a terrible situation in the country. “Some things are very strange,” he commented.
