Minister sends 12 trucks of relief items for rain affectees in Peshawar

On the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Minister for Food Bilal Yasin handed over 4,500 food hampers for the rain-affected people in Peshawar. President PML-N KPK Pir Sabir Shah received 12 trucks carrying relief items at warehouse of PDMA KPK sent by the Punjab government. Provincial Minister for Minerals Chaudhry Sher Ali, Rehmat Salam Khatak, Member Provincial Assembly Shabir Hussain, Akbar Khan and Nasir Musa Zai were also present on the occasion. Pir Sabir Shah thanked the Punjab government, people of Punjab and the Punjab chief minister for sending relief goods. He said provision of relief items by the Punjab government for rain-affected people in Peshawar was a proof of love of Shahbaz Sharif with the people. Bilal Yasin said the chief minister ordered to ensure immediate provision of relief goods to the rain affectees in Peshawar whereas chief minister and ministers of KPK were busy in dancing in Islamabad by leaving the people in distress. The provincial minister said that no one was taking care of the affected people of KPK whereas the Punjab government and people of Punjab were standing with the Pakhtun brethren in this hour of trial.
