An amount of Rs 15 billion has been approved for successful completion of Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan.
According to the Finance Ministry’s spokesman, out of the total amount approved by the ministry for Operation Zarb-e-Azb, Rs 8 billion will be released to the Defence Ministry on Monday while remaining Rs 7 billion will be released by the end of this month,.
He said that the Defence Ministry had requested the release of this amount which was approved by the Finance Ministry to meet the requirements of the operation.
