The Pakistani government has decided to award Sitara-e-Imtiaz to Pakistani origin American pilot Haris Suleman.
The award is being given in recognition of his services for the welfare of people of Pakistan. The award will be given by the president on 23rd March, 2015, and his family will come to Pakistan from the United States to receive it.
Haris Suleman and his father died in a plane crash while on a world round to collect funds for a charity institution.
