Two killed, three injured in violence

Two persons were killed and three others injured in different violence incidents in the city on Saturday.

A teenager, Faizan, 13, son of Muhammad Aslam, was stabbed to death by unknown persons in Gulistan-e-Johar. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.

Separately, another man, Muhammad Razik, 35, son of Muhammad Abid, was killed by unknown culprits near Labour Square in Landhi. He was shifted to JPMC for a postmortem examination.

Muhammad Jamil, 30, son of Abdul Latif, was shot and injured by unknown robbers on resistance during a robbery bid in Shah Latif Town. The injured was shifted to JPMC for treatment.

The Shah Latif Town police station SHO said that one Mohammad Jamil was injured by firing of unknown persons at Main Road, Shah Latif, and he shifted to JPMC for treatment. He said the injured man belonged to armed forces and received minor injury of bullet on his right hand.

Meanwhile, Medico-Legal Officer (MLO) JPMC Dr Jagdish reported that two persons, Faheem, 30, son of Saeed, and Ibrahim, son of Lauqman, were brought to JPMC from Vita Chowrangi, having received bullet injuries caused due to firing of unknown accused.

Sub-Inspector Sagheer Ahmed said two persons, Faheem and Ibrahim, were injured by firing of unknown accused during resistance on a robbery bid at Vita Roundabout in Korangi. The injured were shifted to JPMC for treatment.
