The Punjab government has been allegedly keeping secret the report of a one-member judicial commission formed to probe the Model Town incident for the last seven days, sources said, adding that the report pins the blame solely on police, clearing the Punjab government officials of any responsibility of the incident.
However, a Punjab government spokesman has said that no responsibility of the Model Town incident was fixed on the Punjab chief minister in the report of the judicial commission. The spokesman said that the commission has asked the Punjab government to fix the responsibility of the incident in the light of this report. He further said that the Punjab government had started immediate action for implementation on this report.
