Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday issued special directives to arrange breakfast, lunch and dinner for the “Azadi March” and “Inqilab March” participants.

In this regard, the prime minister has formed a four-member committee comprising Tariq Afzal Chaudhry, Raja Ashfaq Sarwar, Ashraf Gujar and Abid Waheed Sheikh.

Nawaz has ordered the authorities to ensure provision of shelters and clean drinking water to the protestors. He has also directed the City Development Authority (CDA) to build temporary washrooms for the PTI and PAT activists.

Islamabad IG Aftab Cheema has been directed to ensure all possible measures for security of the rally participants.

The PTI marchers took more than 36 hours to reach the capital as convoys made stopovers in various cities along the road, where they were warmly welcomed.

Both Khan and Qadri plan to hold sit-in in Islamabad until their demands for PM Nawaz Sharif’s resignation and electoral reforms are met.
