US State Department spokesperson Merry Harraf has said that America fully supported the democratic government of Pakistan but also respected the opinion of Pakistanis.
The spokesperson added that that the US government had no stance on the protest against the sitting government in Islamabad.
On other hand, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon has refused to give any straight statement on opposition’s anti-government protest. According to the UN spokesperson, Bankimoon stands by the right of people to protest peacefully and backs freedom of expression.
