Who care for the labour class?

It is now understood that there is no one in Pakistan who can raise the voice for the labour class. The class is continuously suffering in terms of increasing duty time and decreasing pay scale. All organisations, whether from public sector or private, do not care for their labour. People employed in private organisations have no decided time to go home from workplace. The worst case is for the security guards who have no holiday even on Sundays and Eid days. They perform their duty for 12 hours in a day, seven days in a week. Our labour laws clearly state that the labour hours should not be more than 45 hours in a week. It is sad but true that the violation of law is no more shocking in Pakistan. I request the mill owners, traders and all business community to please care about the labour. I also request the labour department to be aware and make arrangements to implement the law.
