ISLAMABAD-
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will inaugurate Quaid-e-Azam Residency in Ziarat, now restored to its original shape, on August, 14.
Ziarat residency has been restored to its original form under the directives of PM and chief minister Balochistan at the cost of Rs 15 million.
Sources said Ziarat residency will be restored as the national heritage.
All the national and provincial leadership will accompany PM on the occasion of inauguration ceremony of Ziarat residency.
Last year, the residency- where Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah spent the last two months and ten days of his life- was attacked with rockets.
The building and preserved belongings placed therein were burnt to ashes.The security guard was also gunned down by the attackers.
