*Medical reports reveal that policemen allegedly killed by Qadri’s supporters actually died in a road accident on Aug 8

A case was registered against Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri on Sunday for instigating his followers to murder a policeman but Pakistan Today has learnt reliably that contrary to the Punjab government’s claim, the policeman died at a hospital on August 9 after a road accident a day before.

Pakistan Today has learnt that Constable Muhammad Arshaf, a resident of Narowal, was returning from work on Friday when he met an accident. The injured constable was taken to General Hospital where he was admitted on admit card 212355.

The constable belonging to Battalion 5 Belt number 39005 Bedian Road was identified by his co-worker Mudasser.

Ashraf died during treatment in the hospital on Saturday. Senior Neurosurgeon Dr Ijaz reported blood clotting as the cause of Ashraf’s death.

Ashraf’s father Muhammad Aslam had filed a First Information Report (Case no 541/14) with the Naseerabad Police Station under sections 302, 109, 148 and 149 against Qadri and his followers, alleging that Qadri’s speech had incited his followers who injured and killed his son with repeated blows to his head.

“A case of murder, incitement to violence and treason have been registered against Qadri and his supporters,” senior police official Zulfiqar Hameed said.

Meanwhile, Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashhood asserted that police have booked Qadri for terrorism and murders and will arrest him soon.

A total of four cases have been registered against Qadri so far.

Meanwhile, Bhakkar police has registered cases against 223 PAT workers who were arrested with bullet-proof jackets, crackers and weapons in Bhakkar on Sunday.

  1. Dr Tahir ul Qadri is the same person who declared fatwa on Taliban that it is obligation to fight against them because they are against the Government. Now the same fatwa is also applicable on Dr Tahir ul Qadri. Importantly it should be noted that the apparent cause of TTP (to implement Islamic Law) was far much better than the apparent cause of Doctor Sab (to implement western Democracy). We all should understand that we are damaging the justification of operation Zarb-e-Asab by supporting Dr. Tahir ul Qadri. Are we supporting western democracy? Are we against Islamic Laws because they are against the desires of 18 crore Pakistani? We are united against ourselves not against those who are our true enemies. Please think as a Muslim.
