An improvised explosive device (IED) on Monday targeted a security forces convoy on Chaman’s Mall Road, injuring at least three people, a private news channel reported.
According to the report, police sources claimed that the IED was planted in a standing motorcycle and went off when the convoy passed by it
Four passersby were injured in the blast. They were shifted to a hospital.
Security personnel arrived at the location and an investigation into the incident went underway.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack as yet.
Last week, a similar blast in the city injured eight people, including two policemen.
