Metro Bus route in the provincial capital has been reduced as part of security measures ahead of anti-government protests scheduled for this week, a spokesman of the bus authority said.
According to the spokesman, the Metro Bus is following the restricted route that is from Gajju Matta to MAO College. The bus service has been reduced in the wake of rallies and protests, he said.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) is all set to observe the Martyrs Day on August 10, while the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would hold the Azadi March against alleged rigging in last year general elections on August 14.
