*Hot, humid weather to prevail in most parts of the country
The Met Office has forecast mainly hot and humid weather in most parts of the country during the next 12 hours.
However, rain with thundershower is expected at isolated places of Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Hazara, Mirpur Khas, Karachi divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Temperature of some major cities recorded on Wednesday morning was: Lahore 29 degrees Celsius, Islamabad 27, Karachi 28, Quetta 21, Gilgit 17, Murree 19 and Muzaffarabad 24 degrees Celsius.
According to the synoptic situation, a well-marked seasonal low lies over Balochistan and its adjoining areas with its trough extending north eastward. Weak monsoon currents are penetrating north-eastern parts of the country and Kashmir.
