Traffic wardens of Rawalpindi City Traffic Police (CTP) have been directed to take action against vehicles parked in double lines at CNG stations for gas refilling.
According to Rawalpindi Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Shoaib Khurram Janbaz, lifters of CTP will remove the vehicles parked in double lines and fines will be imposed on the violators. He said earlier, the CTP had put a ban on parking vehicles in double lines on the roads at CNG stations and decided to take strict action against the violators.
The CTO said that the double lines at CNG stations create obstructions in smooth flow of traffic on the roads causing troubles for the motorists.
The vehicles parked in double lines would be impounded and challan tickets would be issued to the owners.
