Nationwide tally of polio cases in year 2014 reached 108 with four new cases reported from different areas of the country, a private news channel reported.
National Institute of Health (NIH) has confirmed the new cases reported from Karachi (Sindh), Kalar Kahar (Punjab), Peshawar (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA)
It is for the first time this year that a case has been reported from Punjab.
FATA’s North Waziristan recorded the highest, 58, polio cases.
