Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi chapter workers staged a protest at Karachi railway station Wednesday after their demand for a special train for PTI’s ‘Azadi’ march was rejected by Pakistan Railways.
A large number of the PTI workers gathered at the railway station and chanted slogans against the administration.
Sindh Assembly MPA Hafeezuddin said that the party would stage a sit-in protest at the railway track if their demand was not fulfilled in the next 72 hours.
He said that as a large number of people from Sindh would be participating in the march, the party should be given a special train.
Meanwhile, Railway SSP has said that stern action would be taken if anyone tries to stop any train.
