Sindh Rangers have issued a detailed report of arrests, killings and confiscations made during the Karachi operation since September 2013.
According to the Rangers spokesperson, 178 criminals were killed and 2,787 arrested in 3,285 raids since the start of the operation on September 5, 2013 whereas 15 Rangers personnel were martyred and 43 received severe injuries.
The arrested include 150 target killers, 213 extortionists, 27 kidnappers and twelve terrorists. Rangers reportedly killed 178 terrorists in 126 raids and recovered 32 abductees.
During the operation, around 4,895 arms were reportedly confiscated, including machine guns, LMG, RPG, SMG, hand grenades, rocket launchers and improvised explosive devices.
Morover, 190,000 different types of bullets were also recovered from criminal elements within the city.
