Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday issued warrants of arrest for ARY News Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Salman Iqbal and anchor Mubashir Lucman for presenting anti-judiciary programs.
IHC Justice Shaukat Siddiqui was hearing Islamabad District Bar petition against ARY’s program maligning judiciary.
ARY News CEO Salman Iqbal did not appear before the court, despite court orders and the court by issuing warrants of arrest of Salman Iqbal and anchor Mubashir Lucman ordered them to appear on September 9.
How could such orders be issued without investigation.If a court can do this on the evidence of TV programme then why they are not using TV FOOTAGE of murders in Modal Town Lahore. What does this indicate about this judge who issued this order?
