*Plans are being made to arrest, detain PTI workers

Punjab government under a well conceived plan has worked out lists of workers, leaders and office bearers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) with reference to its prospective Azadi March.

These leaders and activists of the PTI which have been divided into two lists can be arrested and detained.

Well placed sources of the Punjab government have said these lists have been evolved under a well thought out strategy. However no decision has been taken so far to arrest or detain any worker.

It has been resolved at the government level that the government writ and rule of law will not be compromised at any cost. The law will take its course against those found involved in violence and arson related incidents.

On the other side the PTI has taken notice of the media reports with respect to detention and arrests of its activists. PTI provincial president Ejaz Chaudhry has said that arrests and detentions cannot stop popular gathering storm to rage. This is a settled matter that we will not offer arrests and we will reach Islamabad at every cost, he declared. The atmosphere is ripe for Azadi March and we have nothing to do with either government accords permission or otherwise, we will reach Islamabad. August 14 will be defining time in the history of the country and every venue will lead to Islamabad on that day, he held.
