At least six militants were killed and nine others were injured as a Pakistan Army checkpost was attacked in Lower Dir on Wednesday.
According to reports, 70 to 80 militants attacked the checkpost from the Afghan side of the border. However, swift retaliation by army troops forced the assailants to retreat to their hideouts in Afghanistan.
