Despite tall claims of K-Electric that there would be no power outages in the city for a week, residents of Karachi continue to suffer from long hours of load shedding on the second day of Eidul Fitr.
Various parts of the city, including North Karachi, North Nazimabad, Korangi, Manzoor Colony, Shah Faisal and Akhtar Colony are facing unscheduled load shedding.
According to residents, there is an insufficient supply of water in some parts of the city as well. Residents said that while an adequate amount of water is being supplied to water hydrants, there is not enough water in residential areas despite bills being paid.
