Eidul Fitr is being celebrated in Saudi Arabia today as the Shawal moon was reportedly sighted in the kingdom on Sunday.
Most of the Arab, European, American and Canadian Muslims celebrate the holy month of Ramazan and Eidul Fitr on the same dates as the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Eidul Fitr marks the end of the Muslim holy fasting month of Ramazan. Determining the exact date depends on observations of the Shawal moon. The moon sighting committees in UAE and Saudi Arabia met on Sunday in their respective countries to witness the Shawal moon.
