National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has completed the data verification of internally displaced persons of North Waziristan Agency (NWA) and the report has been submitted to the Prime Minister (PM) Office.
According to the report, a total of 94,152 families were registered initially and out of them, the data of 53,186 families has been found correct, while that of 40, 966 families was incorrect.
As a result of the verification, 40,966 families were deleted from the initial list due to provision of incorrect information or for not being residents of NWA.
Meanwhile, the distribution of cash assistance to the NWA IDPs through mobile phones is also underway and about 84 percent of the work has been completed.
