Liaquat Ali Khan’s eldest son passes away

Ashraf Ali Khan, the eldest son of Pakistan’s first prime minister Liaquat Ali Khan, passed away on Monday morning.

Ashraf Ali Khan, 77, suffer from cancer was admitted into a private hospital five days ago died Monday morning. He leaved behind a widow, a daughter and two sons.

His funeral prayer was offered after Asr prayer at Masjid Shafqat, Gizri. Born in 1937, Ashraf was just 14 years old when his father was assassinated on October 16, 1951.
