Rangers kill 3 alleged terrorists in targeted operation

Law enforcement agencies killed three alleged terrorists and arrested two others who were injured in a targeted operation in Manghopir area of the city, early on Saturday. A Ranger was also injured during the operation.

A Rangers spokesman said that on a tip-off, Rangers personnel conducted a targeted operation at an ijtima gah in Manghopir and killed three terrorists in an exchange of fire, while two others were arrested in injured condition. The spokesman claimed that the militants belong to a banned terror outfit and were involved in an attack on the paramilitary troops headquarter in Karachi’s Nazimabad area, target-killing of policemen and other heinous crimes.

Rangers sources claim to have recovered a huge cache of explosives, including suicide jackets, pistols, and hand grenades from the possession of these terrorists.

The terrorists killed were identified as Shah Wali, Saeed Hussain and Javed. The bodies were shifted to AbbasiShaheedHospital.
