Three persons including a father, son and their maid were found dead under mysterious circumstances in a house in Imamia Colony Gojra on Saturday.
According to police sources, foul smell from a house prompted the people of the area to inform the police.
The police personnel reached the house and found 52-year-old Manzoor Ahmed, his adopted son Kamran, 10, and their 16-year old maid dead. They were shot in their heads. On inquiry, the relatives told the police that the deceased had no enmity with anyone. They said Manzoor Ahmed, who worked in Dubai, had come to visit his family a couple of months back.
The neighbours said Manzoor Ahmed’s daughter had married a man of her own choice few months ago this strained the relations between the families.
The police have started investigations of the triple murder from different angles.
