Toyota Indus Motor Company has handed over a relief consignment of Rs 5 million to the National Disaster Management Authority for the internally displaced persons (IDPs) who have been affected as a result of the military operation in North Waziristan.
Tariq Hussain Khan, General Manager HR & CSR, Indus Motor Company, handed over the humanitarian assistance to Chairman NDMA, Major General Saeed Aleem, as a gesture of solidarity to the IDPs to elevate the sufferings of the affectees.
The consignment comprised ten truckloads with each of one thousand hampers of relief goods for the displaced persons. The hampers include food items like flour, pulses, oil, salt and biscuits for the displaced persons living in camps in Bannu.
