The Punjab government handed over 16 missing children to the Sindh government on Friday.
Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) and Social Welfare Department also handed over three missing children to their parents in a ceremony held in Karachi recently. According to CPLC Chief Ahmed Chinoy, the search for missing children was initiated on court orders. Among the children found, three belong to Karachi whereas 13 hail from central Sindh region.
Gifts were distributed among all the children in the ceremony held in Karachi. The children expressed their gratitude and said they would happily live with their parents now. Ahmed Chinoy informed the media that the search for all the misplaced and runaway children was in process.
