Six outlaws arrested, bike, weapons seized

Islamabad Police have arrested six outlaws from various areas of the city besides recovering stolen bike, weapons and other looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, Islamabad SSP Muhammad Ali Nekokara assigned the task to all SDPOs and SHOs to curb activities of mischievous elements through high vigilance and effective policing. Following these directions, strict patrolling is being maintained in the city and during last 24 hours, police arrested six outlaws.

Koral police arrested two bike thieves Zeeshan Ahmed, Kashif Abbasi and seized stolen bike (RIU-1372) from them. Industrial Area police arrested two people identified as Mohsin and Imran for having one pistol each.

Meanwhile, Islamabad Police have arrested two proclaimed offenders during a special crackdown against absconders. Cases have been registered against the arrested people and further investigation is underway.

Meanwhile, 10 vehicles and 68 bikes were also impounded during checking which were being driven without authentic documents. Police also apprehended 11 professional alms-seekers from various areas of the city.
