*Petitioner says Imran wants to sabotage democracy with his own hands despite being a MNA
The Lahore High Court (LHC) has adjourned the hearing till the first week of August of the petition seeking orders to prevent Imran Khan from long march on August 14.
The court has also directed the petitioner to give more arguments on the maintainability of the petition.
Justice Khalid Mehmood took up the petition for hearing on Wednesday.
The petitioner Muhammad Kamran took the plea that Imran Khan wanted to create chaos and anarchy in the country by staging long march on August 14. Despite being member of the National Assembly, Imran wants to sabotage the democracy with his own hands. This is a breach of rights of the citizens under public representation act and the constitution, the petition said.
He prayed the court to order prevention of long march in the supreme national interest.
The court while adjourning the hearing of case till first week of August summoned the petitioner for more arguments on the maintainability of the petition.
