Baba Ladla’s man killed in Bihar Colony

Police and Rangers in their crackdown against criminals killed an accused linked with Lyari Gang War and arrested 34 suspects in the city on Wednesday.

The law enforcement agencies have stepped up their raids against criminals and arrested 30 suspects in search operations in Frontier Colony, Pirabad and Qasba Colony areas, police sources said.

Police and Rangers in a joint operation in Bihar Colony area of Lyari killed an accused linked with gang war. The slain accused was a member of Baba Ladla gang, police sources said.

Police arrested two accused after an exchange of fire at University Road.

Policemen signalled the motorbike riders to stop. The suspects opened fire at the police party. Policemen retaliated with counter fire and arrested the suspects with weapons in injured condition, police sources said.

Moreover, Rangers personnel in a raid in Qasba Colony arrested two hitmen with arms. The men were involved in targeted killings in city and associated with a political party, rangers sources said.
