A tale of two deals

Shehla Raza has claimed that as per one of the provisions of NRO, it had been agreed among the stakeholders that martial law would not be imposed in Pakistan for at least 15 years.

This fits in exactly with what was decided under CoD – that PPP and PML-N would take turns winning the 2013 and 2018 elections. Benazir of course must have insisted on one more turn for good measure, and couldn’t care less what happened after that.

A more calculating woman was never born. She could have taught a thing or two to Machiavelli.
