KSE closes lower on Tuesday

The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Tuesday having 30402.09 shares with a negative change of 11.14 and volume of 110,622,980 shares.

High and Low were 30476.36 and 30336.06 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 148,086,830 shares with 329 total traded companies out of which 140 were up, 158 were down and 31 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks were the top traded sector with total traded volume of 48,064,100 shares. It was followed by Construction and Materials (Cement) with a total traded volume of 33,921,300 shares.

The three top traded companies were Bank of Punjab with a volume of 15,407,000 and price per share of 9.12 (0.34), Askari Bank with a volume 12,822,500 of price per share of 21.32 (1.01), Maple Leaf Cement with a volume 12,291,500 of price per share of 33.49 (0.56).

The top three advancers were Bata (Pak) with price per share 3348.00 (98.00), Colgate Palmolive with price per share of 1730.00 (79.50) and Exide (PAK) XD share of 484.91 (23.09).

The top three decliners were Pak Tobacco with price per share of 1100.01 (-52.41), Shezan Inter with price per share of 969.37 (-50.63) and Nestle Pak. per share of 7850.00 (-34.00).
