Seven die in CNG cylinder blasts in Peshawar and Karachi

At least seven people were killed and 11 others injured in two incidents of CNG cylinder explosions in Peshawar and Karachi on Monday.

In the first incident, four people were killed and three injured when Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) was being filled in a vehicle at a filling station situated on Peshawar’s Ring Road. The victims were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital for medical treatment.

On Monday evening, at least three people were killed and eight injured when a CNG cylinder fitted in a passenger bus exploded at a CNG filing station during refilling in Federal B Area of Karachi.
