At least 16 people were killed and 40 others were injured on Monday when a speeding passenger bus crashed into a ravine near Samahni valley in Bhimber district of Azad Kashmir.
The passenger bus was enroute to Mirpur from Samahni when it fell into the ravine, after the driver lost control of the speeding vehicle.
Police and rescue officials reached retrieved the people and bodies from the bus with the help of local volunteers.
The injured have been shifted to Mirpur hospital where several of them are said to be in critical condition.
Police have started an investigation.
