As many as 91 out of 101 poultry farms are operating without environmental No Objection Certificate (NOC) in Rawalpindi.
Rawalpindi District Officer Environment Mian Muhammad Nawaz said complaints are under hearing in Environmental Tribunal against the poultry farms running without environmental NOC and the tribunal will conduct hearing on August, 4 and 5 in Rawalpindi on this count. He said that 945 complaints, site inspection reports and details of proceeding thereof have been made online.
