Six dangerous criminals escaped from police custody in Sambrial on Saturday.
According to DPO Muhammad Gohar Nafees, the police had brought the accused from Sialkot to produce them before local courts but they broke into the bathroom of the judicial lock-ups and fled.
The DPO has suspended all police officials escorting them and ordered registration of a case against them.
