A government team led by Malaysian Foreign Affairs Minister Anifah Aman is expected to meet the Ukraine president, vice president and foreign minister on Monday with regards to Malaysia Airlines’ MH17.
According to details, Malaysian Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai left for Kiev on Saturday. Kula Lumpur-bound Malaysia Airlines’ MH17 disappeared from radar screens in eastern Ukraine on Thursday, hours after taking off from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, Netherlands. The Boeing 777 is believed to have been shot down by rebels, 50 kilometers from the Ukraine-Russia border. All 298 passengers and crew on board, including 44 Malaysians, are believed to have been killed.
