A blast killed at least three persons and wounded 27 others, including five Frontier Corps (FC) personnel in Balochistan’s volatile Khuzdar city on Saturday.
Police official Muhammad Anwar said that terrorists had targeted an FC vehicle with an improvised explosive device in the Seerat Chowk area, adding that most of the victims were civilians while the vehicle was slightly damaged by the explosion. The condition of six of the injured people is reportedly critical.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
Khuzdar is already on high alert due to Yaum-i-Ali falling on Sunday (today).
