Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif will have to pay price for the Model Town incident, said Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri in a message released after a month of the Model Town tragedy on Thursday.
Qadri said first information report (FIR) of the incident was still not registered by the police.
He blamed police for the entire carnage that claimed over two dozen lives, most of them PAT supporters including women.
Qadri asked why Shahbaz Sharif had not resigned as he was chief culprit behind Model Town incident. He told his party workers that sacrifice of the PAT activists would not go in vain and those responsible for the incident would be brought to book.
Dr. Tahir ul Qadira I had seen you on TV channels talking to media, you are a scholar,
the way you talk and your body language doesn’t suit you.
You had lived in Canada, I bet you will not dare talk over there the way you talk in Pakistan.
Please behave nicely.
